LTE makes the moon mission possible
The first private initiated moon landing of the Berlin PTScientists will be the basis for further missions, perhaps even for the first village on the Moon, as the furthest outpost of humanity. With Vodafone's LTE technology, it will be possible for the first time to see high-resolution images of the moon and the original landing site of Apollo 11 - the first human to enter the moon when Neil Armstrong arrived. Therefore, the landing module ALINA establishes a radio connection to the earth - and becomes the first LTE base station on the moon. Two Audi Lunar Quattro moonrover explore the Earth satellite, while ALINA always connects them to each other and to the command center in Berlin Marzahn on Earth.
